YOUR LOCAL CHOICE FOR
DRIVEWAY CLEANING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Oil patches under where the car sits, tire tracks, and that brown-orange tannin staining from the leaves and debris that sit on the surface and bond into the concrete pores over time. Your driveway takes more abuse than any other surface on your property, and it shows. It is also the first thing a visitor, a neighbor, or a buyer sees when they arrive.
The good news is concrete cleans up better than almost any other surface when the right equipment is on it. Here at Rhine Cleaning, we use a rotary surface cleaner on every driveway job. No hand wand, no stripes, no fan patterns left in the concrete. Just a uniform finish from edge to edge.
If your driveway has been bothering you every time you pull in, call (562) 526-0639. We will come out, tell you what it needs, and give you a clear price.
DRIVEWAY SURFACES WE CLEAN
From standard concrete to premium pavers, every driveway surface in SoCal gets the right equipment and the right pressure for the material.
Concrete Driveways
Concrete is the most common driveway surface in SoCal by a wide margin. Shaded driveways near trees tend to carry the worst combination of tannin set and algae, while oil drip staining is a consistent issue across every neighborhood. One thing worth knowing upfront about oil: it is a penetrating stain that soaks into porous concrete at multiple layers, not just the surface. The improvement after cleaning is significant, but full removal is not something any honest operator can guarantee. Recent stains respond much better than years of chronic leaking.
Paver Driveways
Paver driveways are common on premium homes across Orange County, and they use the same rotary surface cleaner as concrete. The difference is that we manage pressure and standoff distance throughout the job to preserve the polymeric or kiln-dried sand in the joints. After cleaning, we always advise the homeowner to inspect the joints and top up any depleted sections with sand. Right after cleaning is the best time to re-sand because the joints are at their cleanest and most visible.
